Network Installation

Benefits:

Running CTILink on the network has two benefits. Only one unlock code is needed for all running copies and program parameters such as the type of phone service and client application can be set once for all copies.

Installation:

• Install the software as normal from any workstation connected to the server. During the installation you will be asked for the directory to install in; select a directory on the server that has read and write access and is visible to all workstations using CTILink.
• Register the software from the same workstation (Remember to include the number of licenses required).
• To install the software on another workstation, navigate to the CTILink directory on the server and run CTILink.exe. This will create a shortcut on the workstation desktop and perform all necessary registrations.
• To set default parameters for all workstations, first, close the phone service if it is open then in CTILink click on Options – Global Settings Password…. A dialog box will ask for the password, by default this is CTI in uppercase letters. The password can be changed at this time. Once the password is correctly entered, all changes made will affect all copies of the software running on the network. Exit CTILink to disable the global settings. Options changed when Global Settings is not set will affect the local workstation only.
