Setting up and Using GoldMine

In CTILink, select Options - Client Applications - GoldMine to display the GoldMine Propertied dialog.

In the How to display a contact when receiving a call group box choose one of three options to determine how GoldMine will display a matching record. Check If a matching record is not found, GoldMine displays the contact list to have GoldMine display a dialog with all current contacts listed.
After dialing out from Goldmine the Phone Dialer dialog box is displayed with a Status of "Pick up the handset...". If you would like to dismiss the dialog without having the phone hung up check the Ignore hang up check box. In addition, the Phone Dialer dialog can be automatically dismissed by selecting "Preferences" in Goldmine then select the "Modem" tab and in the "Dial Number Formatting" group box change the "Hang up after: " option to 1 second.
If the phone number format is different than the GoldMine default, enter the format in the edit box.
To test, enter a number that is known to be in the GoldMine database and click Lookup Nbr.

Using CTILink to dial from Goldmine.

In Control Panel select "Phone and Modem Options". On the "Advanced" tab click "Add...". Select "CTILinkTSP.tsp" and click "Add". In the "CTILinkTSP Configuration" dialog click "Add" once and then click "OK". Close the "Phone and Modem Options" dialog. In Goldmine select "Preferences" and then select the "Modem" tab. In the "Modem Settings" group box select "CTILinkTspLine" from the "TAPI Line" drop down box. Click "OK" to dismiss the Preferences dialog.
Now dial out from Goldmine as usual, CTILink will place the call even if the CTILink Phone Service is not TAPI.
